About

Mission House has a passion for compassion. Our goal is to show kindness and Christian values even when the world is not looking.

During the last state inspection of our facility, not even minor violations were found, and as a result, we were granted a less common 2-year state license for operation of a Residential Home in Virginia.

Our staff maintain certifications of CNA, DCA, and/or PCA.

In 2016, the Mission House took over at the facility formerly owned and managed as Elkton Manor.

Is a Residential Home
right for me?

A Residential Home is suitable for persons who do not need medical care, but who can benefit by basic caregiving services, such as prepared meals and snacks, medication management, mental health support, housekeeping, and laundry.

Medicaid applicants qualify for placement in a Residential Home based on their UAI (Uniform Assessment of Individual) form.

A Warm Thank You!

The staff and residents at Mission House extend our deep gratitude to all those who have shown their support for our mission in various ways.

We would especially like to give a warm thank you to Impact Ministries Church for their support to our residents monthly Bingo game and brightening their day. We were happy to see the write up in your newsletter!

We also are deeply grateful to the One Spirit Church who built for us a beautiful wooden pavilion that gives our residents a space to enjoy outside in the summer shade.

And the King will answer them,

‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me.'

Matthew 25:40
